KEVIN KNIGHT
BIO
Kevin Knight has 23 years experience in sports, entertainment and media industries as an athlete,
entrepreneur and broadcaster. Discovering FOX Sports’ Kevin Burkhardt and WWE Star Darren Young are his proudest
accomplishments.
Knight’s career as a sports-entertainer began in 1996 when a one-time gig as a professional
wrestler led to a full-time career that saw “Master of Chaos” battle Hall of Famers and wrestle for WWE in Madison
Square Garden.
As an entrepreneur, Knight founded IWF in 1998, operating a full-time Wrestling Centre hosting Events,
Parties and Training in Woodland Park then Nutley, NJ. He handles marketing, public relations, social media and community
outreach. 50 graduates received WWE tryouts with 11 employed including Darren Young.
Knight worked at WGHT
Radio in Pompton Lakes, NJ, as morning show co-host, sports director and play-by-play broadcaster. Knight provided Kevin
Burkhardt his first broadcasting job when he was hired to join the sports department. Burkhardt would later work for
FOX, SNY and WFAN. Knight also worked freelance radio play-by-play broadcasts, including the Little League World Series.
Knight
was featured on WCBS News, WNBC News, Fox 5 Good Day New York, WABC News, WOR 9 News, PIX 11 News, News 12, MTV, Extra, Nickelodeon,
MSG Network, FOX News Channel, Telemundo, Sirius XM, WOR Radio, WCTC Radio and Compound Media. Knight participated in
a national Burger King commercial in 2006 and several local commercials.
As a marketing consultant, Knight works hands-on
with small businesses to create promotional and public relations strategies, and develops social media platforms for companies
from fitness centers and sports nutrition to bands and entertainers.
At William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ,
Knight worked at WPSC Radio, serving as operations manager, sports director and play-by-play broadcaster. Kevin also
provided play-by-play on WPC-TV alongside Kevin Burkhardt. Knight was trained by legendary NFL, MLB and NBA announcer
Spencer Ross.
